Day 1:  Arrive Wellington
On arrival at Wellington airport you collect your rental vehicle before making your way to your accommodation.  Wellington is a picture perfect city set between a magnificent harbour and rolling green hills.  It is also a compact city where funky shops, exciting galleries and great restaurants are within easy walking distance.

Day 2:  Taste Wellington!
Depart today on your exclusive Taste Wellington food tour.  Visit a boutique coffee roaster and café, enjoy tastings at Wellington's best specialist gourmet food stores and meet owners, baristas, coffee roasters and chefs.  Then drive through interesting suburbs to a food writer's home to chat and taste some delicious treats.  To finish, savour a larger, longer lasting tasting lunch with matched New Zealand wines at a top Wellington restaurant, and meet the chef and/or owner.


Day 3:  At Leisure
Today is at leisure to explore what Wellington has to offer.  Downtown Wellington on Lambton Quay is popular with shoppers.  Perhaps take a trip on the Cable Car which takes you from Lambton Quay to Kelburn or enjoy a visit to the Botanic Gardens.  For a different perspective of the city, take a harbour cruise or a ferry trip to Eastbourne, where there are craft shops, galleries and cafes.  Highly recommended is a visit to Te Papa Museum.


Day 4:  Depart Wellington
Sadly, your holiday is at an end as you return your rental vehicle to Wellington airport today in time for your onward flight. Here, we bid you a fond farewell to your homeland and hope you leave with many happy memories of your stay in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
