Day 1: Arrive in the Hawke’s Bay
On arrival at Napier airport you collect your rental vehicle before making your way to your accommodation. In 1931 a devastating earthquake nearly levelled this city. It was rebuilt in the style of the times, and is now considered the Art Deco Capital of the world. It is also a region where local produce reigns supreme, from its award-winning wines to the freshest range of quality primary produce.

Day 2: Food & Wine Lover’s Delight
Today you enjoy a full day privately guided tour of the Hawke’s Bay Wine Country where you start your exploration of the range of New World wine excellence in both white and red varietals with Long Island Tours. Day 3: At Leisure
Today is free to explore the region. Highly recommended today is a visit to Cape Kidnappers Reserve where you can view the world’s largest mainland Gannet Colony. Alternatively perhaps enjoy lunch at one of the many vineyards in the region, take a guided walking tour of the town to view the Art Deco buildings or perhaps enjoy an early morning hot air balloon ride.
Day 4: Depart the Hawke’s Bay
Sadly, your holiday is at an end as you return your rental vehicle to Napier airport today in time for your onward flight. Here, we bid you a fond farewell to your homeland and hope you leave with many happy memories of your stay in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
