If you like a certain level of independence and want to move at your own pace and plan your own itinerary then a motorhome is the ideal way to see New Zealand. Simply drive until you find somewhere to stay, and then you can relax overnight or for a few days exploring the local area before moving into your next destination.
All motorhome hires include free unlimited kilometres, 24 hour on road assistance, complimentary travel wallet including road maps and information and standard insurance (excess applies), but we recommend you check the detailed inforamtion of each motorhome to ensure it is best suited to your requirements and needs.
For summer hire (November-March), it is essential to book before arriving in New Zealand as many companies are booked out months in advance.
Generally the legal age to rent a motorhome in New Zealand is from 21 years, however this can range up to 25 years depending on the company.
