Day 1: Arrive Auckland
On arrival at Auckland airport you collect your rental vehicle before making your way to your accommodation. Known as the 'City of Sails', Auckland is New Zealand's largest and most vibrant city offering an array of cosmopolitan experiences. Enfolded by two huge harbours, Auckland is an environment that's alive with cultural excitement and sea-flavoured challenges. This evening you enjoy a 5 course tasting dinner at Mollies Luxury Restaurant. The in-house bar and Dining Room cater to every need. With many private spaces Mollies is well-suited to hosting romantic candle-lit dinners for two.
Day 2: At Leisure
Today is at leisure to explore what Auckland has to offer. Perhaps visit Kelly Tarlton’s Underwater World and Antarctic Encounter, take a cruise on Auckland Harbour or make your way to the top of the Sky Tower for spectacular views of Auckland city.

Day 3: Auckland to The Coromandel
Farewell Auckland as you travel south along the Southern Motorway to reach the market garden area of Pukekohe. Then continue on to reach your destination of the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula, a beautiful rugged area fringed with dozens of excellent beaches. Your destination in the Coromandel is the town of Whitianga.
Day 4: At Leisure / Hot Water Beach
Today is at leisure to enjoy the best that this region has to offer. Perhaps a picnic at the beach or in the bush, a relaxing day at the stunning beaches or take a 20 minute drive to Hot Water Beach which is one of the region’s most fascinating places. For two hours either side of low tide, you can dig in the sand for hot spring water and make your own spa pool. This evening dinner is included at Villa Toscana.
Day 5: Coromandel to Rotorua
Today travel along the Bay of Plenty Coastline before heading inland across the volcanic plateau to the geothermal city of Rotorua, passing many of the regions crystal clear lakes en-route. Best known for its geysers, boiling mud pools, crystal lakes teeming with trout, steaming cliffs and volcanoes, Rotorua is also the home of Maori culture.

Day 6: Cruise Lake Tarawera
Today you enjoy 3 hours exclusive cruising. Step aboard, relax unwind and enjoy a scenic cruise on picturesque Lake Tarawera. Your skipper will explain the early Maori and volcanic history of the area. You will hear how the dramatic 1886 eruption of Mt Tarawera destroyed the world renowned Pink and White Terraces and buried the Maori Village of Te Wairoa (known today as the Buried Village). Lake Tarawera is renowned for its trophy sized Rainbow Trout (up to 7kgs or 15lbs). You can experience the excitement of catching these prized fish, a number of methods are used including fly-fishing, spin fishing, trolling, harling and jigging. When you approach Hot Water Beach, you are invited to step off the vessel to explore the untouched native bush and immerse yourself in natural thermal waters and enjoy morning or afternoon tea on board.
Day 7: Rotorua to Auckland
It’s a leisurely drive today as you farewell Rotorua and travel through the fertile Waikato region. Continue further north to reach the market garden area of Pukekohe then travel on the Southern Motorway to reach Auckland. Later today you enjoy a luxurious one hour massage which takes place in the couples room. Choose your choice of oil and surrender to the rejuvenation. A perfect way to end your journey together.
Day 8: Depart Auckland
Sadly your time in New Zealand comes to an end as you travel the short distance and return your rental car to Auckland airport for your onward flight. Here, we bid you a fond farewell to your homeland and hope you leave with many happy memories of your stay in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
