MT HUTT SKI FIELD, METHVEN


Elevation: 2086 metres
Vertical: 683 metres
Skiable Area: 365 hectares
Lifts: 1 high speed six seater chair, 1 quad chair, 1 triple chair and 1 enclosed Magic Carpet
Terrain: 25% Beginner, 50% Intermediate, 25% Advanced
Season: June to Late October
Facilities:
Licensed Brasserie & Cafe, rental service, storage lockers, retail outlet, medical centre & licensed creche.
Average Snowfall: 4.0 metres per annum (excluding snowmaking)
Snowmaking: 42 hectares
Location: 26 km including 12 km of gravel road / 35 minutes from Methven or 90 minutes from Christchurch
Ski Shuttles: Daily service to/from Methven and Christchurch.  Chain hire available on the access road when required.
Operating Hours:  9.00 am to 4.00 pm
Longest Run: International - 2 kilometres

 

THE REMARKABLES SKI FIELD, QUEENSTOWN

Elevation: 1943 metres
Vertical: 357 metres
Skiable Area: 220 hectares
Lifts: 3 quad chairs, 3 surface conveyor lifts & 1 handle tow
Terrain: 30% Beginner, 40% Intermediate, 30% Advanced
Season: Late June to Mid October
Facilities:
Licensed restaurant, cafe & snack shack on the snow.  Rental service, workshop, storage lockers, retail shop, medical centre & licensed creche.
Average Snowfall: 3.67 metres per annum (excluding snowmaking)
Snowmaking: Beginners areas, Alta Green, Casterway, Gotham City & Turquoise novice trails and Ozone Tubing Park.
Location: 28 km / 45 minutes from Queenstown
Ski Shuttles:
Daily service to/from Queenstown and shuttle from the bottom of the access road.  Chain hire avaialble on the access road when required.
Operating Hours:  9.00 am to 4.00 pm
Longest Run: Homeward Run - 1.5 kilometres

CORONET PEAK SKI FIELD, QUEENSTOWN

Elevation: 1649 metres
Vertical: 462 metres
Skiable Area: 280 hectares
Lifts: 1 high speed six seater chair, 2 high speed quad chair, 1 t-bar, 3 surface conveyor lifts & 1 handle tow
Terrain: 25% Beginner, 45% Intermediate, 30% Advanced (includes Back Bowls)
Season: Early June - Early October
Facilities:
Multimillion dollar redevelopment including a huge sheltered deck, 4 cafes & licensed restaurant, rental service, workshop, storage lockers, medical centre & licensed creche.
Average Snowfall: 2.03 metres per annum (excluding snowmaking)
Snowmaking: Extensive coverage, top to bottom
Location: 18 km / 20 minutes from Queenstown
Ski Shuttles: Multiple daily services to/from Queenstown
Operating Hours:  9.00 am to 4.00 pm
Night Skiing: Mid July to September, Friday and Saturday nights, 4.00 pm to 9.00 pm
Longest Run: M1 - 2.4 kilometres

CARDRONA SKI FIELD, WANAKA

Base Elevation: 1260 metres
Vertical Rise: 600 metres
Skiable Area: 345 hectares
Lifts: 2 x quad fixed chairlift, 2 quad express chairlifts, 3 magic learner lifts, 1 platter beginner lift.
Terrain: 25% Beginner, 50% Intermediate, 25% Advanced
Season: 24 June to 02 October 2011
Facilities: Snow shop, Full rental services incl. workshop, Lockers, medical centre. 5 quality cafes.
Average Snowfall: 2.7 metres per annum (Snowmaking to supplement natural snow in the Main and Captain's Basins). 
Location: 35 minutes from Wanaka, 60 minutes from Queenstown via the Crown Range
Ski Shuttles: Daily service from Wanaka and Queenstown
Operating Hours: 9.00 am to 4.00 pm

TREBLE CONE SKI FIELD, WANAKA

Elevation: 2088 metres
Vertical: 705 metres
Skiable Area: 550 hectares
Lifts: 6 seater express chairlift, saddle quad chairlift, nice & easy platter, magic carpet
Terrain: 10% Beginner, 45% Intermediate. 45% Advanced
Season: Late June to Late September
Facilities: Retail shop, secure storage facility, full rental services, snow school, cafe, fully supervised indoor facility designed specially for children, junior ski school, terrain park.
Snowmaking: 50 hectares
Location: 35 minutes from Wanaka, 90 minutes from Queenstown via the Crown Range.
Ski Shuttles: Daily service from Wanaka and Queenstown
Operating Hours:  9.00 am to 4.00 pm
