What is a Qualmark Endorsed Visitor Service?

Luxury Vacations New Zealand Ltd has been recognised as one of New Zealand's leading tourism businesses by being licensed to carry the Qualmark - New Zealand tourism’s official mark of quality.
Having recently undergone endorsement assessment Luxury Vacations NZ has now been awarded "Qualmark Endorsed Visitor Service".
The endorsement programme is designed to identify professional and trustworthy operators to enable international and domestic visitors to book and buy tourism products and services with confidence.
Qualmark's assessment systems have been developed in conjunction with operators, sector and industry associations and other stakeholders to ensure they accurately reflect the needs and expectations of today's visitors, and that they have broad support within the industry. The systems have also been developed with reference to international tourism assessment systems and customer research, as well as drawing on Qualmark's own extensive experience in assessing tourism businesses.
Managing Director, Jo Barry, says that the Qualmark endorsement is important for local and international visitors alike. "It’s a pretty rigorous process that puts real focus on the services and systems we have in place. This endorsement reassures potential clients that we’re a good, reliable, trustworthy operator and that we will look after them. It's important that visitors have these official and independent benchmarks to refer to when they’re making decisions about how to spend their time and money".
Qualmark is a joint venture of Tourism New Zealand and New Zealand Automobile Association and is backed by the New Zealand Tourism Association and other leading industry organisations.
Qualmark is run on a not-for-profit basis as a service to travellers and the tourism industry.
